Job summary

SAM, a nationwide geospatial and construction-phase solutions leader, is seeking a Survey Technician in Baton Rouge. You will support office and field staff by processing data, delivering final surveying deliverables, and reporting to the Project Manager.

Training is provided on the latest A/E/C technology and industry practices. You will help increase project efficiency and client satisfaction by adhering to SAM standards, monitoring field production, and performing QC.

Qualifications

Strong desire to learn; little to no experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit or similar application is a plus.
Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.

Responsibilities

Process data and deliver final land surveying deliverables.
Support field staff by processing incoming information.
Report to Project Manager and perform technical tasks using the latest A/E/C technology.
Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
Initial QC of field deliverables according to standards.
