Surveying And Mapping, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Survey CAD Technician I to support office and field staff in producing final land surveying deliverables. The role emphasizes on-the-job training and learning SAM standards, with exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit.

You will assist with data processing, quality checks, and coordination to meet client needs under supervision, helping improve project efficiency and accuracy across geospatial projects.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn; little to no experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong computer and technical skills; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus.
• Proficiency in technical math; geometry and trigonometry are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Processing data utilizing SAM standards, including evaluation of accuracy and sufficiency, under supervisor.
• Monitoring field crew’s production and quality assurance.
• Carrying out initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices.
• Coordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met.
