Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer in New York with a focus on transportation facilities. You will work under a Senior Structural Engineer on projects including rail stations, airports, and hubs, applying structural analysis and design tools to deliver safe, compliant structures.

The role offers growth in a collaborative team with exposure to varied disciplines, code-driven calculations, and field inspections across NY Metro projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, structural focus. Recent grad or May 2025 graduate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and presentation skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Develop structural design details and drawings for new construction and renovations.
Prepare calculations and design packages using Excel and Mathcad.
Create drawings in REVIT, AutoCAD and MicroStation; perform field inspections.
Collaborate with project teams and clients across transportation facilities.
