Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer | Designer to launch your career across multiple U.S. offices, including California. You will gain mentorship, tackle meaningful technical challenges, and contribute to seismic analysis, steel and concrete design, and project delivery.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on analyses, contract documents, client collaboration, and site visits while progressing toward PE licensure in a supportive hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Education: master’s strongly preferred for structural engineering.
• Alternative path: bachelor’s with 1–2 yrs highly technical design experience considered.
• Core proficiency shown via advanced coursework or project work in steel/RC design, structural analysis, dynamics, earthquake engineering (West Coast).
• GPA 3.40+; transcripts may be requested.
• US work authorization required.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural analysis and design under licensed engineers.
• Produce contract documents and deliverables.
• Engage with clients, attend meetings, document progress.
