Job summary

Wendel in the United States is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join one of our regional offices in Middletown, CT. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent civil/structural graduate to be trained and mentored by senior staff while contributing to design and analysis on diverse projects.

You will develop structural models, work with RAM, REVIT and AutoCAD, and collaborate across disciplines in a supportive, growth-focused environment that values hands-on learning and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification is required.
• Up to 5 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Bentley RAM, REVIT, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural analysis and design of components and systems.
• Develop gravity and lateral design loads per ASCE 7 and governing building codes.
• Produce structural calculations and analyses for building systems and foundations.
• Prepare structural drawings, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil teams.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings.
• Perform construction administration tasks including shop drawings and site observations.
• Work with staff through mentorship.
