Wendel is looking to hire an Entry Level Structural Engineer to work out of our Rochester (NY), Williamsville (NY), Albany (NY), or Middletown (CT) offices. This role offers an incredible opportunity for a recent Civil/Structural engineering graduate to be trained and mentored by our senior staff.
Responsibilities include assisting with analysis and design of structural components, developing loads per ASCE 7, and coordinating with architectural and MEP disciplines.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- Up to 5 years of Structural Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of structural engineering software (Bentley RAM products) and 3D modeling software (REVIT and AutoCAD).
Mansioni
- Assist with the structural analysis and design of components and systems using structural steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, and wood.
- Develop gravity and lateral design loads per ASCE 7 and governing building codes.
- Develop structural calculations, analyses, drawings, details, and specifications.
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil disciplines.
- Participate in design meetings and perform construction administration tasks.
