Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer in St. Louis, MO to support the Federal Buildings team on challenging projects.

You’ll design from new multi-building complexes to historic renovations, with mentorship from senior engineers and hands-on exposure to analysis, modeling, and construction documents. Ideal candidates bring ABET‑accredited civil/architectural engineering focus, EIT, internship experience, and familiarity with BIM 360, Revit, ETABS, RISA, or RAM.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an ABET-accredited program.
• MS degree with Structural emphasis from ABET-accredited program is a plus.
• EIT credential is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design for federal buildings and renovation projects.
• Support technical quality of engineering tasks and construction document creation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and designers across disciplines.
