Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, part of Austin Industries, is seeking an Entry Level/New Grad Engineer for a Mesquite, Texas project. You’ll perform entry-level engineering and admin duties across Operations, Estimating, Survey, Scheduling, and Engineering, with focus on structural components.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (or equivalent), and 0–2 years in heavy civil highway/bridge projects.

Qualifications

• New/recent college graduate (May 2026 – December 2026).
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Project Controls by coordinating training activities and policy updates.
• Aid in development and presentation of training materials and in scheduling.
• Support surveying tasks including plan reading, field layout and CAD drafting.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure project requirements are understood.
• Perform engineering calculations and collaborate with project teams on cost estimates and bids.
