Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, a leading U.S.-based construction company, is seeking an Entry Level / New Grad Engineer for projects in the Austin/San Antonio, Texas area. The role blends engineering and administrative duties across Operations, Estimating, Survey, Scheduling, and Engineering to provide broad exposure to the business.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate (Aug 2026–May 2027) with a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• New/recent college graduate (August 2026 – May 2027)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (experience may substitute)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship by Austin Bridge & Road

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Controls team with coordinating training and compliance activities
• Help develop and present training materials and update policies
• Assist in creating and updating project schedules and earned value metrics
• Read drawings, perform earthwork calculations, and basic formwork/false work design tasks
• Support estimating via subcontractor/bid evaluations and site reviews
• Provide CAD drafting support and basic engineering calculations
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Assist with other duties as assigned
