Job summary

AECOM’s GPA Bridge Engineering Practice seeks a Structural Engineer with a passion for bridge design. This role offers exposure to local and North American mega-projects, with a hybrid schedule requiring two days in one of the PA offices and the rest remote.

The position emphasizes structural analysis, mentoring junior staff, QA/QC, and collaboration with multiple clients and delivery teams across Pennsylvania and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structures focus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass MVR is required.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of new bridges and other transportation structures.
• Analysis and rehabilitation design of existing bridges.
• Use of computer software for the analysis and design of bridges and other structures.
• Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations and structural drawings.
