Zusammenfassung

CannonDesign in San Diego is seeking a civil/structural engineering professional to join our multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a licensed engineer. You will help develop new and analyze existing structural systems for diverse buildings, and document designs using Revit and other engineering tools.

You will perform design calculations under supervision and assist in preparing Contract Documents, collaborating with the design team and reviewing shop drawings during construction.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor in Civil Engineering with Structural focus by hire date; Master’s preferred.
• EIT, LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience using engineering design software (Revit, RAM, RISA) is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop new or analyze existing structural systems for institutional, sports, and corporate/commercial buildings.
• Perform design calculations under supervision.
• Develop BIM models in Revit for Contract Documents.
• Produce foundation, floor framing, roof plans, sections and details.
