LaBella Associates in Albany, NY is hiring a Jr. Structural Designer to join its Building Engineering Division. You will work under a Senior Structural Engineer to prepare concepts, designs, drawings, and reports for diverse projects including K-12, higher education, municipal, and healthcare facilities.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural coursework and an EIT certification. 1–5 years of relevant experience is preferred, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit;

Qualifications

• EIT certification required.
• 1–5 years of experience in concrete, steel, masonry, or wood design.
• Bachelor degree with structural coursework is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Determine structural loading criteria, perform complex design calculations, and prepare structural specifications.
• Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
• Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM).
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs and perform field observations during CA phase.
