Job summary

Labellapc is currently seeking a Jr. Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering Division in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will work closely with a Senior Structural Engineer on various projects including K-12 education, municipal, and commercial.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, along with benefits such as health insurance, a flexible work schedule, and a profit sharing plan. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and an Engineering in Training Certificate.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood design is required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and structural engineering design software preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Determine structural loading criteria and prepare structural specifications.
• Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM).
• Review shop drawings and perform field observations during construction.
