Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Junior Store Designer to develop 2D and 3D architectural plans for interior and exterior retail projects. You will apply knowledge of the furniture retail industry and brand objectives to create compelling store concepts and documentation.

The role requires 4 years in interior design (retail preferred), strong AutoCAD/Revit skills, and proficiency in Photoshop/SketchUp/Enscape. Travel to global locations is expected to support execution and branding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years in an Interior Design related field, preferably Retail design.
• Proficient in 3D visualization and design principles.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Photoshop, SketchUp, Enscape and lighting design.
• Experience with building and health codes.
• Experience with retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D architectural plans and design documents for interior and exterior retail projects.
• Understand and apply knowledge of the furniture retail industry and Ashley’s products to reinforce business strategies.
• Adapt brand objectives into unique and varied retail projects.
• Manage schematic design, design development and documentation for multiple projects with an average budget of $10M annually.
• Independently manage multiple projects at different stages and communicate status to necessary parties.
• Travel to global retail locations and showrooms to lead onsite field verification and documentation.
