Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Retail Interiors within a branded environment.
• Strong concept design development for retail and branded environments.
• Expertise in retail store planning, sales area and BOH layouts.
• Experience with retail fixtures and custom millwork design.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to produce photo-realistic renderings with Enscape and AI tools.
• Balance design thinking with technical execution across all phases.
• Familiarity with schematic design, design development and contract documents.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client throughout the design phase.
• Assist design director in overseeing the design team.
• Develop preliminary retail programs and requirements.
• Create test-fits, schematic design planning, and program analysis.
• Prepare and support scope and budget documentation for fixtures and millwork.
• Coordinate design with client, consultants and project team.
• Organize and present design proposals to clients.
• Select, present, and specify furniture, finishes, and accessories.
• Design and coordinate retail fixturing, wall systems, gondolas and POS.
• Develop custom millwork detailing, specification and fabrication intent.
• Review engineering drawings and submittals for design intent.
• Visit site during construction as needed.
