IBM Storage Solutions Team is hiring an Entry Level Storage Client Solutions Engineer in San Diego. You will support senior engineers across storage, hybrid cloud, and AI-driven solutions, contributing to solution design and validation in collaboration with ecosystem partners.

The role emphasizes building deep expertise in modern storage technologies, virtualization, and cloud platforms, with growth into a future solutions engineer role focused on measurable customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• Strong fundamentals in infrastructure, distributed systems, or cloud concepts.
• Experience with storage concepts (block/file/object) and RAID/snapshots.
• Familiarity with virtualization and container platforms.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and AI/ML context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in client discovery and design work.
• Assist with labs, PoC setups, testing, and docs.
• Create repeatable solution assets and guides.
• Contribute to GTM assets and roadmap integration.
• Assist partner programs and ecosystem onboarding.
• Analyze adoption metrics and enablement progress.
