Job summary

Ideal candidates have corporate or transactional experience at leading firms outside the United States, with a U.S. LLM preferred for international candidates.

• Check that client information is complete and accurately reflected in the output.
• Review outputs against quality standards and checklists, including names, dates, amounts, ownership details, and consistency.
• Flag discrepancies, incomplete outputs, and exceptions for senior attorney review.
• Track matters through the review process and keep their status current.

Lexsy is hiring a detail-oriented legal professional to support our startup and venture capital work through the Lexsy platform.

This role focuses on operating Lexsy and checking the quality of its outputs. You will follow established workflows, review documents against our quality standards, and escalate matters requiring further attention.

We welcome internationally trained lawyers with corporate experience at leading firms outside the United States, including those who subsequently completed a U.S. LLM.

What You'll Do

• Use Lexsy to run established workflows for company formations, corporate governance, equity documentation, and financing matters.
• Check that client information is complete and accurately reflected in the output.
• Review outputs against established quality standards and checklists, including names, dates, amounts, ownership details, and consistency across documents.
• Flag discrepancies, incomplete outputs, and exceptions for senior attorney review.
• Track matters through the review process and keep their status current.

What we are looking for

• Prior corporate or transactional experience at a leading law firm, including firms outside the United States.
• A law degree; a U.S. LLM is preferred for internationally trained candidates.
• Familiarity with startup and corporate documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written English.
• Comfort working with AI tools and learning new software.
• Reliable availability, sound judgment about when to escalate, and the ability to follow established processes.

Working arrangement

• Approximately 10 hours per week initially, generally spread across weekdays, with an agreed daily overlap window. The role is remote and location flexible.
