Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Legal Expert — Transactional / Corporate for a remote, hourly contract. Immediate start; 20–40 hours per week.

You will design deal scenarios, draft reference responses at attorney level, and grade AI outputs with rubrics; support onboarding and calibration sessions.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in transactional or corporate law.
• J.D. (US/Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive).
• Strong experience in contract review, due diligence, corporate governance, NDA drafting, or securities filings.
• Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
