COPE Health Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on invoicing, AR management, and monthly reconciliations, with exposure to bank and credit card accounts and journal entries. You will work closely with the Controller to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The position offers growth opportunities, exposure to audits, and the chance to improve processes within a fast-paced healthcare-focused accounting team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the invoicing and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and account maintenance.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all bank and credit card accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts and ensure account balances are accurate and properly supported.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for review and approval by the Controller.
• Manage employee and independent contractor commissions.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of the annual financial statement audit.
• Manage the employee expense reporting process, ensuring timely submission, review, reconciliation, and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and workflows designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times, strengthen internal controls, and streamline accounting processes.
