Summary

The Junior Staff Accountant assists with professional accounting duties to maintain control over expenses, income, assets, and liabilities of the hotel, ensuring the security of the company's assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and daily reports
• Processing general ledger journal entries
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Account analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Review of accounts payable invoice coding
• Ensure proper posting of invoices in the general ledger
• Daily report reconciliation
• Payroll analysis and reporting
• Maintain professional relationships with hotel teams
• Maintain attendance in line with Gulph Creek Standards
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Prior hospitality experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals
