Job summary

Castle Biosciences Inc. is hiring a full-time Clinical Services, Junior Specimen Processor to work at our Pittsburgh, PA office. Start date is October 1, 2026, with a schedule Monday–Friday in office.

This role focuses on opening incoming specimen shipments, matching them to documentation, sorting by test type, and distributing to the appropriate staff for processing while ensuring quality and accuracy. We offer a strong benefits package including bonus potential and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open incoming specimen shipments and verify documentation accurately.
• Sort specimens by test type and distribute to staff for processing.
• Scan records into the appropriate systems and maintain data quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of specimens and support supply chain integrity.
• Follow safety rules and communicate issues to supervisors; maintain a clean, organized work area.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year lab/clinical experience preferred
