Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development, is hiring a Specimen Processor I in McKees Rocks, PA. The role supports specimen preparation, labeling, and data entry to ensure timely testing and accurate results.

The position requires basic laboratory exposure, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Schedule includes evenings and a rotating Saturday shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and pass color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in a timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
