Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Jr. Integration Engineer for the Space Force Range Contract in California. You will support LTRS subsystems as a Lead Systems Engineer under senior guidance, manage risks, and help with funding and integration tasks.

Responsibilities include developing acquisition documents, coordinating with government customers, and helping transition new systems to SFRC OM&S standards. Must meet SE basics and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• 0–2 years of systems engineering experience or related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering lifecycle and SE processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Lead Systems Engineer for LTRS subsystems under guidance.
• Assist in developing spend plans and data for Government funding inputs.
• Provide project integration support from award to transition of TPD systems.
• Assist in writing requirements for TPD contracts and RFP development.
• Coordinate with Government customers and SFRC stakeholders.
• Support risk management activities and ROMBs.
• Oversee transition/integration of systems to meet SFRC standards.
• Support systems engineering processes for SFRC continuity.
• Develop training tools and documentation for transitioning systems.
• Demonstrate analytical problem-solving and strong communication.
