Bass Pro Shops' Ozark Mill is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef in food production, ensuring a high level of culinary quality for front and back of house.

The role requires a 2-year kitchen experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred), and ServSafe Manager certification. Improve operations, lead staff training, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Culinary Arts.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required or equivalent.
• 2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist in monitoring food production for quality during prep and service.
• Support Sous Chefs and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain accurate kitchen recipe book and ensure recipes are followed.
• Train staff on procedures and property information.
• Lead daily shift huddles and address unresolved topics.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation and proper storage/rotation practices.
