Job summary

The position emphasizes agile ceremonies, test case development, data testing, and SDLC compliance. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Basic understanding of testing as part of a solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with SQL and writing basic SQL queries.
• Understanding of data structures and data management practices.
• Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand testing concepts, practices, and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) or Automated Test Driven Development (ATDD).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis and review of epics, features, and user stories.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo/Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Analyze and translate requirements to create and execute test cases.
• Create and maintain test cases and test data using industry and Huntington standards.
• Assist in identifying test scenarios based on the understanding of systems, interfaces, system audits.
• Maintain test cases and test data using standard testing tools.
• Participate in identifying all testing needs and the development well defined test plans.
• Write, review, and maintain test scripts.
• Participate in and facilitate defect management meetings.
• Perform all aspects of verification/testing (integration, functional, regression etc.).
• Manage defect tracking and provide informative updates as requested.
• Participate in production validation and support as needed.
• Comply with Huntington’s standards of the SDLC and adhere to testing strategies & procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
