Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst in Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid) to support the delivery of enterprise applications and modernization initiatives. You will validate requirements, execute comprehensive testing, and support release activities within Agile teams to ensure reliable, user-friendly software.

The role emphasizes collaboration with developers and stakeholders, hands-on testing across functional areas, and ongoing quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience performing manual software testing in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development teams.
• Familiarity with REST API testing, SQL queries, and automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate business and technical requirements to ensure applications meet expected outcomes.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and post-release quality assurance activities.
