Job summary

AutoStore is seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA to contribute to software that automates and orchestrates warehouse operations. You will build, test, and maintain scalable systems, gain exposure to APIs, telemetry, and data-driven solutions, and work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

The role is ideal for someone early in their career, eager to learn modern software development practices, with 0–2 years of experience and a foundation in modern

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or professional experience.
• Familiar with Git and at least one modern language (TypeScript, C#, Java, Python).
• Ability to design with OO principles and data structures; familiar with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software components under guidance of senior team members.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established standards.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
• Assist in developing and maintaining APIs and system integrations.
• Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Support efforts to improve system reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Learn and apply modern software development methodologies, tools, and engineering practices.
