Job summary

Avalore in Maryland seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems handling analytics, large data sets, and real-time processing. You may work solo or with a team, review components, test adherence to design, and document results.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and up to four years of SWE experience. Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain privileged access are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to derive design and performance needs.
• Debug existing software and fix defects.
• Provide recommendations to improve documentation and standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing features.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems.
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories.
