Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Software Engineer in Maryland to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, real-time processing, and data management. You will lead teams, review designs, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with system requirements.

Requirements include 20 years as a SWE in similar programs, 5 years in Python and in UI/UX, and 7 years in software database interfaces, plus active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in User Interface Web Design and Usability Development.
• Seven (7) years of experience in Software Database and Repository Interface Development.
• Five (5) years of experience in Python.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate current polygraph is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure timely delivery.
