Job summary

IntelliGenesis LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Maryland to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing‑intensive analytics and large data handling.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required, with up to four years of additional SWE experience substituting for the degree. C++ expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Software development focusing on C++ code for the core team; development of processing system for 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets realtime systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
