Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer – Junior/Journeyman in Colorado Springs to help build data-driven analyses and enhance simulation tools for our Space and Intelligence Division.

The role requires US citizenship, a bachelor’s or master’s in science/engineering, 6+ years in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, C#, JavaScript/Typescript or Rust, and DoD clearance eligibility. On-site collaboration with a skilled Veracity team is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Science/Engineering fields as listed.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Python, C/C++, Java, C#, JavaScript/Typescript or Rust.
• Excellent programming and software engineering skills.
• Proficiency with Git.

Responsibilities

• Build software tools that produce authoritative, data-driven analyses for clients.
• Maintain and extend existing simulation and modeling tools.
• Develop novel prototypes and expand capabilities of analysis tools.
