Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks a Modeling & Simulation Engineer - Junior/Journeyman.

You will participate in project teams to develop digital models of complex real-world systems using commercial and proprietary software tools, design simulations, and analyze data sets with various analytic methods. Responsibilities include communicating analysis-based findings to sponsors, balancing tasks across projects, and contributing to deliverables for high-priority national

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Operations Research, Modeling & Simulation, and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering.
Experience in data analysis and visualization using Excel, Python, or R.
Ability to report to Colorado Springs location and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Participate in project teams to develop digital models of complex real-world systems using commercial and proprietary software tools.
Design, build, and execute constructive simulations and apply design of experiments best practices.
Analyze and synthesize large data sets with various analytic frameworks and statistical methods.
Support the preparation of deliverables (presentations, written reports) to communicate findings and recommendations.
