re-zoo-me is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing consulting team. This role targets recent graduates and early-career IT professionals with a passion for building scalable software solutions.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy software across development and production environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consulting setting. Willingness to relocate for training is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of professional software development experience.
• You will work with Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, Kotlin or similar languages.
• Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and fundamentals.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and client-server architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Git or other version control familiarity is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Atlanta for paid training and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, business analysts, and other teams throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and software components.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and development standards.
• Work with databases and write SQL queries to support application functionality.
• Utilize Git or other version control systems for source code management.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprints and team meetings.
