Job summary

re-zoo-me in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing consulting team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software while learning from experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, W2 role offers a paid training program and opportunities to work across client projects in the United States. Relocation to Atlanta is required for training, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 1–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, Kotlin.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and client-server.
• SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git.
• Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for training and travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and client-server architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is preferred.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to different client environments and project requirements.
• Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for the paid training program and travel or relocate as required for client engagements across the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic, or personal projects involving software development or programming.
• Familiarity with software development frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET, React, Angular, Django, Flask, or similar technologies.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and DevOps concepts.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated software testing.
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience working with APIs, microservices, or distributed systems is a plus.
