Job summary

HouseMax Funding seeks a Junior Software Engineer to help build and support technology for real estate lending operations. You will develop internal apps, support data infrastructure, and contribute to innovative solutions using modern web tech and LLMs.

You will assist with data ingestion, integrations, and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years in software/data engineering or API development.
• Understanding of SDLC and modern development practices.
• Experience building web-based applications.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal applications using modern web tech.
• Develop and support data ingestion, APIs, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Operations and Leadership to translate business needs.
• Maintain data ingestion jobs (Python, SQL Server) as needed.
