Job summary

HouseMax Funding LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a pod of Loan Originators, driving performance, coaching, and development. You will manage onboarding, ramp milestones, and ongoing production goals, while guiding hiring decisions and process improvements.

You will build high-performing teams, assign mentors, and ensure consistent coaching across in-office and remote reps, with a focus on accountability and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing sales professionals, loan officers, or originators in mortgage/private lending or related finance.
• Proven success coaching sales teams to hit production goals.
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
• Strong understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a pod of Loan Originators; coach, manage performance, and ensure onboarding ramp milestones.
• Drive daily/near-daily touchpoints for the pod; manage pipeline, deals, and reviews.
• Build pods of 6–8 reps; assign mentors; ensure visibility for remote and in-office reps.
• Run fixed-cadence deal and call reviews; identify skill gaps before they affect production.
• Review early-stage transactions to identify coaching opportunities and improve outcomes.
• Establish escalation path for deal involvement with VP of Sales and HR decisions for the pod.
• Collaborate with Recruiting to hire top talent and foster a high-performance culture.
• Monitor pipeline performance and drive improvements in conversion and revenue growth.
