Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks an entry-level Software Engineer to support NASIC at Wright-Patterson AFB. You will write and maintain code across Windows and Linux using C++, Python, and TypeScript, contributing to data analysis tools for tactical intelligence products.

You will participate in design reviews, work with a team of developers, and implement unit tests. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in software design, development, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Knowledge in web/service-based design, programming and requirements.
• Front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5 and libraries such as Angular or React JS.
• Server-side languages such as C++, Python, and Go; Git proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing code bases for multiple applications and websites on Windows and Linux.
• Participate in software design meetings and reviews.
• Collaborate with other software developers in a team environment.
• Implement unit tests and participate in functional test plan execution.
