Job summary

Davidson seeks an Entry-Level Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to join an Agile team working on the Sentinel program. You will contribute to software design, development and unit testing for a software-intensive system within a fast-paced defense program.

The role requires 0-2 years of experience in software engineering, a STEM degree, and the ability to collaborate with architects and Scrum teams. DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM related degree from an accredited college or university.
• 0-2 years of experience as software engineer.
• Experience with designing, developing and troubleshooting C++.
• Excellent organizational and facilitation skills.
• Self-starting mentality and willingness to take ownership of difficult challenges.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Scrum team on technical considerations for associated problems, issues or conflicts
• Interface with chief architects to ensure technical requirements are met
• Develop technical documentation to include activity and sequence diagrams
