Job summary

Davidson Technologies Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Software Systems Engineer onsite in Roy, Utah. The role supports the Air Force's development, production, sustainment and deployment of software systems for Sentinel ground and airborne launch control systems and related infrastructure.

You will work across system requirements, architecture, and interfaces, collaborating with architects and product owners to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery in a DoD setting.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience spanning the full DoD systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system architecture design, interface definition, and verification/validation.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing MBSE methodologies and SysML to develop system models.
• Demonstrated experience defining software system architecture, software-to-software interfaces, and software-to-hardware interface control documents (ICDs).

Responsibilities

• Analyses customers' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develops technical documentation to include system architecture and system design documentation.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Collaborates with Architects and Product Owners to resolve systems engineering technical considerations, issues, risks, and conflicts.
• Holds ultimate accountability for the technical integrity, quality, and successful execution of all systems engineering deliverables within the assigned area of responsibility.
