Job summary

Davidson Technologies Inc. seeks a Software Systems Engineer to work onsite in Roy, Utah. You will support the DoD software systems for Sentinel Ground and Airborne Launch Control, involving architecture, interfaces, and lifecycle activities.

The role demands MBSE, SysML, Agile/SAFe, and DoD lifecycle expertise with a track record of translating requirements into concrete software components. Security clearance at Secret level or above is required.

Qualifications

Extensive MBSE experience spanning lifecycle activities.
Experience with SysML to develop system models.
Ability to translate high-level requirements into software requirements and components.
Demonstrated knowledge of software-to-software and software-to-hardware interfaces.
Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyzes customers' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
Develops technical documentation to include system architecture and system design documentation.
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Collaborates with Architects and Product Owners to resolve systems engineering technical considerations, issues, risks, and conflicts.
Holds ultimate accountability for the technical integrity, quality, and successful execution of all systems engineering deliverables within the assigned area of responsibility.
