Job summary

Davidson Technologies Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Join a team supporting the Air Force with development, deployment, and sustainment of software systems for Sentinel Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems.

Responsibilities include leading design, development, integration, testing, and documentation, while applying Agile/DevSecOps practices to deliver high-reliability software for mission-critical defense systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant software engineering experience.
Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages (C++, Java, or Python).
Experience developing software for complex, mission-critical embedded or distributed systems.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps environments.
Experience documenting software architectures and engineering artifacts.

Responsibilities

Analyses requirements, concepts, and specifications to define software solutions.
Leads design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of complex software systems.
Translates requirements into architecture, designs, and technical solutions.
Evaluates approaches to meet performance and mission needs.
Provides technical leadership across architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
