Job summary

Nuro is seeking a Product Engineer to help build the On-Road Experience and Routing platforms that power its autonomous vehicle fleet. You will design, develop, and ship full-stack applications, backend services, and tooling used across operations, engineering, and partner teams to improve reliability and efficiency on public roads.

You should have strong fundamentals in CS, experience with React/TypeScript, and familiarity with REST/gRPC APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or related field.
• Experience building applications with React and TypeScript, or real-time server-side systems.
• Familiar with RESTful or gRPC APIs and cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack applications across frontend and backend.
• Develop backend services and APIs that interface with vehicle systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, component libraries, and shared platform patterns.
• Own features end-to-end from scoping to deployment and iteration.
