Job summary

Nuro is seeking an accomplished backend engineer to help scale our Routing team’s backend and onboard modules for safer, faster autonomous driving. You will design microservices and optimize routing algorithms while collaborating with product, strategy, and operations to shape our roadmap and delivery.

You’ll also work with cloud platforms and data storage to ensure robust, observable systems used by millions of users.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling realtime server-side applications.
• Experience with large-scale complex algorithms balancing correctness and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend systems and onboard modules for the Routing team.
• Collaborate with product, strategy, and operations to design and build new experiences and roadmap.
