Job summary

Dark Matter Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Engineering organization. This role targets recent graduates or early-career developers passionate about building high-quality software for mortgage and real estate tech.

You will work with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and QA to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications, learning Dark Matter platforms and industry regulations along the way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and services.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following standards.
• Collaborate with team during sprint planning, code reviews, and design discussions.
• Resolve defects and production issues; document application functionality and support procedures.
