Job summary

Radiance Technologies, an employee-owned company serving the Dayton area, seeks a Junior Software Engineer to support NASIC and advance the Air Force's digital transformation. You will design and implement new capabilities, and resolve issues in existing code to integrate with external services and tools.

This onsite position is at our Beavercreek, OH office. A BS in CS or a STEM field and 0–2 years of related experience are required, along with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or relevant STEM field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher (GPA must be on resume).
• U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• 0–2 years of front-end development experience with React or Angular.
• 0–2 years of server-side experience with NodeJS/Python.
• 0–2 years of experience with version control software (Git).
• Ability to communicate technical details of work.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project.
• Secret security clearance or higher is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/Jenkins) is a plus.

The Junior Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

This is an onsite position at our Beavercreek office*.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins is a plus
• Experience with HELM is a plus
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA is a plus
• Experience with RESTful web services is a plus
