Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to contribute to full stack development, debugging, and testing, on NASIC-focused projects. This onsite role is based in Beavercreek, OH, with an emphasis on hands-on learning in a collaborative team.

You will use languages such as Javascript, Python, Go, C#, and/or C++, gaining real-world experience across the stack while supporting secure national defense work. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing sophomore, junior, or senior standing in CS or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (GPA shown on resume).
• Coursework or project experience in C#, C++, Java, or Python.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development, debugging, and testing for NASIC-focused software.
• Develop front-end and back-end code in multiple languages (JS, Python, Go, C#, C++).
• Collaborate with a team in a security-conscious environment.
• On-site internship with no remote work.

The Software Engineer Intern will be involved in full stack software development, debugging, and testing.Development will be in a variety of both front-end and back-end languages, including Javascript, Python, Go, C#, and/or C++. Software being developed will be used in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

This internship is onsite at our Beavercreek, OH office. Remote work is not available.

Hourly rate: $21.00 - $26.00 (Pay will vary depending on the Interns year in school and experience).

Requirements:

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant technical field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (GPA must be on resume to be considered)
• Classroom level experience programming in any of the following languages (C#, C++, Java, Python)
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Javascript and popular Javascript Frameworks (React, Angular)
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and basic CI/CD principles
