Bridge Core (BCore) seeks a Junior Software Developer for a hybrid role with onsite work in Vienna, VA and Chantilly, VA and up to 3 days remote. The role involves learning to translate business problems into software solutions under senior guidance and delivering secure code aligned with customer requirements.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, participate in code reviews, and grow technical skills while following development best practices.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2+ years of experience with full-stack software development using languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java, Node)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (additional experience may substitute for education)
• Strong understanding of database foundations (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB) and basic relational design principles
• Basic understanding or experience with multimedia streaming technologies and video processing workflows
• Basic understanding or experience with API design and implementation
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment

• Write code solutions that adhere to customer security and requirements
• Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software systems with a multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with software design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment standards
• Research technology solutions and assist in resolving issues based on customer and business requirements
• Ensure products are designed for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and interoperability
• Learn and apply development best practices through mentorship and training
• Collaborate with team members and seek ways to grow technical skills
• Participate actively in code reviews and team learning activities
