Job summary

Bcore, building mission-ready IT solutions, invites a MidSoftware Developer to join our Insight Solutions team in a hybrid role, onsite in Vienna, VA and Chantilly, VA with up to three days of remote work. You’ll bridge complex problems to software solutions, prototype and implement secure APIs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on scalable, robust systems.

The role requires TS/SCI with poly, 3+ years full-stack experience across Python, Groovy, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Java,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope poly required to start
• 3+ years of experience with full-stack software development leveraging multiple programming languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Java, Node)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (additional experience may be substituted for education)
• Experience working with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.) to include Basic understanding of relational database design principles (e.g. Normalization vs Denormalization) and general knowledge of database administration concepts (e.g. users, schemas, constraints)
• Experience working with multimedia streaming technologies and video processing workflows
• Experience working with real-time monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk) for production system health
• Experience with API design and implementation
• Experience working with a DevOps team
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment

• Develop code solutions that adhere to customer security and requirements
• Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions with direction from a multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure compliance with software design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment standards

• Ensure that products are designed and developed for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and interoperability

Desired Qualifications

• Direct experience working with CrafterCMS
• Experience with audio/video analytics, including
• Audio segmentation and speaker diarization technologies
• Video metadata extraction and automated content summarization
• Integration with transcription and translation services
• Experience developing and optimizing AI-enabled transcription and translation services
• Preferred candidates present experience working with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural design pattern
• Experience working with Java for backend development is ideal
• Experience working with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend development is ideal
• Experience with Cloud Providers, preferably AWS
• Preferred Certifications include Amazon Developer Associate, Amazon Solutions Architect Associate
• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $175,000 - 195,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
