Job summary

Covenir is seeking an entry-level Software Developer I (Analyst) in Worcester, MA, hybrid. You’ll build features in JavaScript/Node.js or C#, write SQL queries, and support reporting bridging the Data Analyst and Developer paths.

You’ll learn the Platform architecture, use Git/GitHub, and apply AI-assisted development as part of Covenir’s 80/20 model, guided by senior teammates and the R&D Manager.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience with modern languages.
• Basic SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and Git/GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Build and fix small-to-medium features on The Platform in JavaScript/Node.js, C#, or equivalent.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Support basic reporting and data requests, bridging data analyst and developer roles.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and document work clearly.
• Apply AI-assisted development and analysis tools as part of the 80/20 model.
• Follow Agile sprint assignments and achieve the highest priority tasks.
