Job summary

The Caldwell Group is seeking a Software Engineer in New York to join our engineering team. The role spans data engineering to workflow development and building robust internal tools in collaboration with senior engineers, researchers, and stakeholders.

You will contribute to API and framework design, CI/CD pipelines, and testing suites, while performing data analysis to validate system functionality and supporting AI-driven tool integrations.

Qualifications

• GPA should be strong; BS in CS or Math is ideal.
• Responsibilities span data engineering to workflow development and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects as an individual contributor and guide internal/external staff.
• Provide production support for time-sensitive systems like dashboards, PM systems, external feeds, risk and accounting systems.
• Develop APIs, frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and testing suites using modern architectures.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliations to validate system functionality.
• Contribute to AI initiatives by integrating LLMs and AI-assisted workflows into tools and pipelines.
• Demonstrate ownership, strong communication, collaboration, and analytic orientation.
